The Devil's Backbone
Location: 4041 Farm to Market 32, Fischer, Texas 78623
Story: The Devil's Backbone is a limestone ridge running through the Texas Hill Country, home to a beautiful scenic drive. Accounts of several different ghost sightings from travelers have led to rumors that the Devil's Backbone is haunted—in particular, Purgatory Road, with stories of Spanish monks, Native Americans, and Confederate soldiers.

Glenwood Cemetery
Location: 2525 Washington Avenue, Houston, TX 77007
Story: Nestled below the Houston Skyline, 84 quiet acres shelter generations of Houstonians, 20 mayors, and aviator Howard Hughes. Ghost hunters have flocked to Glenwood for its high electromagnetic fields and the legend that its former owner, a murder victim, haunts the grounds.

Holiday Inn Express (Old Bexar County Jail)
Location: 120 Camaron Street, San Antonio, Texas 78205
Story: Once the home of the Bexar County Jail, built in 1879 with its own execution chamber on the top floor. Guests report strange sounds, objects ripped from their hands, and flickering lights throughout the hallways.

La Carafe Wine Bar
Location: 813 Congress, Houston, Texas 77002
Story: A bakery built in 1860, now a wine bar. Bartenders report bottles falling off shelves and sounds of a child playing upstairs. The ghost of a former manager has been seen in the window.

Magnolia Hotel
Location: 203 S Crockett St, Seguin, Texas 78155
Story: Full of history and paranormal activity. Owners say spirits of people who passed through still linger. Most notably known for the murder of 12-year-old Emma Voelcker.

Presidio La Bahia
Location: 217 US-183 Hwy, Goliad, Texas 77963
Story: The sheer amount of history and bloodshed has left restless spirits. Visitors hear cries of massacred soldiers. Museum staff hear footsteps when closed, and doors opening on their own.

USS Lexington
Location: 2914 N. Shoreline Blvd., Corpus Christi, Texas 78402
Story: Called one of the most haunted places in America. The museum receives hundreds of reports of supernatural activity each year, including a sailor in uniform helping lost guests and another giving lectures before vanishing.

Victoria's Black Swan Inn
Location: 1006 Holbrook Road, San Antonio, Texas 78218
Story: Apparitions throughout the property, especially an upstairs bedroom where a young woman is often spotted seated on the bed. Notable dips in temperature, unexplainable noises, and a spectral child who acts out around living children.

Yorktown Memorial Hospital
Location: 728 W Main St, Yorktown, Texas 78164
Story: Named the most haunted place on earth by The Sun. With nearly 2,000 deaths under its belt, reports include talking dolls, large black apparitions, and red glowing eyes.
